SCADA/Instrumentation/Electrical Technician I: $38.93 – $49.69/hourly
SCADA/Instrumentation/Electrical Technician II: $47.33 – $60.40/hourly
SCADA/Instrumentation/Electrical Technician III: $49.69 – $63.42/hourly
SCADA/Instrumentation/Electrical Technician I/II/III is a non-exempt, journey- through master-level technical and professional class. Under general supervision, performs skilled duties in the design, construction, installation, modification, calibration, maintenance and repair of a wide variety of electrical and electronic control systems, supervisory control systems, plant control systems, telecommunication systems, field telemetry systems, and related equipment and devices used in the treatment, storage, pumping and distribution of potable water; and performs related duties as assigned.

Overview of Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Instrumentation, Communications and Electronic Systems Installation, Maintenance and Repair
Computer Hardware and Networks
Electrical Construction, Maintenance and Repair
Qualifications:A valid Class C California driver’s license and ability to maintain insurability under the district’s vehicle insurance policy.
Possession of or ability to obtain valid CPR/AED and First Aid certification within six months and maintain valid certification thereafter.
Knowledge of:
Practices, theories, methods, techniques, tools and equipment used in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, process and instrument controls, supervisory control, radio and telemetry-based SCADA systems, radio communication and telecommunication equipment and devices common to a large waterworks system.
Ability to:
Test, diagnose, calibrate and repair a wide variety of electrical and electronic instrumentation devices, motors, motor control systems, machinery and equipment common to a large waterworks system.
