Headquartered in Bethesda, MD, Lockheed Martin has employees based in all 50 states and more than 570 facilities that span more than 70 countries.This Lockheed Martin Enterprise Operations (EO) position will support National Security Space programs in Sunnyvale, CA.Basic Qualifications:TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph RequiredUS Citizenship required at this facilityAbility to lift 30 poundsMust possess a CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8572 qualified certificate (or obtain within the first 60 days of employment)Experience with Linux or Unix operating systemsInstall operating system security patches and firmware updatesCreate/manage security groupsCoordinate hardware repair activitiesDiagnose and resolve hardware/software problems/issuesCreate scripts to automate system administration tasksCreate/edit Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) documentationDesired Skills:Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Experience administering virtual machines with VMWare ESXiExperience with SolarisExperience with CentOSPerform successful root cause analysis for problem resolution in Unix and Linux environmentsPerforming routine server/workstation patching per guidelinesAdvanced proficiency in scripting (shell/Ansible)Successfully install server and associated hardwareSuccessfully install/configure software applications and programsProvide support to operations groups requiring off-shift and possible travelProvide IT support in a multi-functional environment that includes software support, network and server administrationManaging servers in a disconnected environmentExperience with vulnerability remediation and security management (system hardening, log management, configuration management [i.e., Nessus, Trellix, Splunk, SCAP, HBSS])Security Clearance Statement:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:
