Corporate & Investment Banking - Payments Team , you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality architecture solutions for various software applications and platforms products. Your passion for technology and thirst for innovation will help shape the future of global digital commerce, now and for years to come.
As part of our Payments Architecture and Engineering Group, you will immerse yourself in solving complex business problems through innovation and proven and repeatable engineering practice. You will partner with Product Teams, Application development teams and other Technology and Operational teams across the group and the firm, developing an extensive personal network that will allow you to influence and provide technical and architectural leadership and mentoring.
You will work on a number of projects which will require differing approaches for success and will depend heavily on collaboration with our colleagues to deliver business results.
Job responsibilities
Represents a product family of technical governance bodies
Collaborates with Chief Business Technologists (CBT) and their technology teams
Collaborates with our Business and Operations partners on emerging strategies and technologies
Participates in the creation and maintenance of the Payments target state architecture strategy
Applies governance and design approvals at Enterprise architecture levels
Embraces a culture of inclusive decision making with proactive and thoughtful engagement between the CBT organization and Engineering & Architecture
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
Proficiency in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Proficiency in architecture and design across all systems
Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture
Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes
Experience in risk and risk control compliance
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
Significant amount of working experience in financial services technology or similar industry where technology is at the core.
Experience in Treasury Services, Cash Management or Global Transaction Banking
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Adept at working in globally diverse teams across different time zones and forging relationships with key business stakeholders and development teams
Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect
Effective communication and presentation skills both to business and technical audience
