Inspiring endless possibilities with enduring performance, its collection of premier building products create inviting outdoor spaces where people connect, reflect and recharge.Job Summary:The Architectural Specification Representative will play a key role in driving sales and promoting Oldcastle APG hardscape and masonry products within the architectural and design community. This individual will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and other industry professionals to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and ultimately drive revenue growth.Job Responsibilities:Working closely with Architects and Designers, identifying key decision-makers, and building trusted business relationships with influencers and specifiers.Monitoring competitive activity and strategically promoting Oldcastle APG, Belgard, Echelon and Amerimix brands offerings.Providing timely and accurate technical information for product specifications.Working and traveling independently throughout the assigned region to call on regular and prospective customers.Responding to the marketplace by providing value through being a knowledgeable rep with quick follow-up.Follow-through to Sales: Follow-up to make sure that product information as provided is sufficient and specifications are held and enter the bid process.Networking within the industry, to better launch and promote target products.Develop in-depth knowledge and expertise about all Oldcastle APG hardscape and masonry products and installation methods.Perform regular product knowledge seminars with architectural and design firms.Maintain sample libraries at design and architect firms in a clean and well-organized manner.Emphasize target products during sales calls presenting actual product samples.Prepare and submit accurate sales forecasts, reports, and other documentation as required by management.Track project opportunities through all stages of development.Maintain detailed records of project specifications, requirements, and timelines.Travel 60-80% locally, occasionally nationally.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field preferred.Hardscape or masonry sales experience and knowledge of products is preferred.Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a focus on selling architectural products or building materials.Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, specifiers, and other industry professionals.Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction processes, and project specifications.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred active membership in professional industry organizations (such as IIDA, ASID, AIA, CSI).Strong leadership and organizational skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) preferred.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.The employee must occasionally lift, pull and move up to 25 pounds.What CRH Offers You:Highly competitive base pay.Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs.Group retirement savings program.Health and wellness programs.A diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion.About CRH:CRH has a long and proud heritage.
