Your JobKoch Engineered Solutions (KES) is currently looking for a BI Developer to work with our Information Technology (IT) Team at our Wichita, KS headquarters. The IT team is a vital component in KES' strategy to improve business performance through the application of technology and profitably transform our business. Working as an integrated group with the Engineering, Operations, Commercial and Financial teams that design and maintain facilities to create value. Our team functions as a startup entity within our enterprise to develop innovative solutions and build a market for their solutions through transforming KES work processes.Our TeamAs a member of the Information Technology team, you will need to thrive in a fast pace and innovative environment. You will collaborate to develop solutions and prove their value through experimentation and scalable deployment in our business. Collaboration, creativity, and focus on attaining positive business results will be necessary skills. Like an employee of a startup, you will need to be resourceful and capable of partnering with market solution providers that can accelerate progress of our business objectives.What You Will DoDevelop business intelligence solutions to meet needs of the KES ET&S organizationMaintain, monitor and troubleshoot existing BI models, dashboards and reportsAssess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers, clients, and other stakeholdersGrow, through influence, a citizen developer mindset across the organization and mentor others on how to utilize BI to take profitable actionEffectively capture business requirements, map processes, and develop functional specifications in support of business BI prioritiesMaintain the support structure for self-service BI toolsDevelop the semantic layer, metadata, reports, and report definitionsAnalyze user requirements and based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applicationsDesign and deliver end-user training and training materials; provide technical support as necessaryAct as evangelist for BI benefits across the organization; promote BI usage to relevant departmentsAdapt to new problems and successfully operate within an experimentation environmentWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)Progressive professional experience in a Business Systems, BI Developer or similar roleExperience with data visualization tools, preferably Power BIProficiency in writing Complex SQL QueriesStrong collaboration and communication skills and ability to work within cross functional teamsWhat Will Put You AheadExperience with multiple languages and syntax (Python, SQL, Apache Spark, etc.)Demonstrated strong financial and analytical skillsAbility to manage multiple, simultaneous tasks and projectsExperience with Scrum/Agile delivery process and environmentExperience with data platforms like DataikuExperience with Snowflake and Neo4jAbility to lead and participate in global cross-functional teams, leveraging transparency and collaboration to achieve resultsAt Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
