Security 101 – Orlando is now recruiting a commercial electronic security programmer with a high level of knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANS, routing, POE, and wireless. Experience in configuring, testing, and commissioning enterprise access control and video management systems.This is a full-time position with an hourly wage range between $25.00-$35.00, non-exempt, commensurate with skills, product knowledge, and experience.Our benefits include medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k) match plan, paid holidays, PTO, and more. We will provide a vehicle, laptop, and smartphone.Skills/Abilities:
3+ years working with information technology systems and solutions.Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10 administration, Microsoft Excel.Working knowledge of relational databases (write basic SQL queries, backup and restore databases).Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.Ability to clearly and concisely present information in one-on-one and small group situations.Strong customer and results orientation.Current certification in one or more of the following:Access Control: Genetec, Lenel, Software House, Prowatch, OpenPath.VMS: Milestone, Exacq, Genetec, Qognify.Recommended:CCNA Routing and Switching, Net+, Security+, A+AC/DC TheoryDigital video technologySIP telephonyResponsibilities:
Commissioning and final testing new systems.New and existing systems configurations and integrations.Customer and employee product training.Subject matter expert on data networks and computer systems.Education:
High School (or GED) minimum requirement.Electronics training from a Technical School or Military training in electronics or communications (preferred).Security 101 is a DFWP and EOE.
