Cognos Senior Developer

As a Cognos Senior Developer, you will research, analyze, and design Cognos Framework Manager Packages by connecting databases, creating data source connections, extracting metadata, and creating relationships among tables based on business requirements. You will also set security for the packages and create packages for different business categories based on demand and requirements. Finally, you will publish the packages. Below is the experience needed:RESPONSIBILITIES:Work directly with business users and analysts to comprehend business requirements and model appropriate Business Analytics to meet those requirements.Create, enhance, and maintain metadata Framework Manager Models (Relational and Dimensional) to support business requirements.Work closely with the Data Modeling team to provide input and feedback for the Logical and Physical data model creation.Assist the team in analyzing report/model performance issues and provide solutions.Contribute to and ensure that the team delivers key milestones to support overall GSS team objectives.Suggest potential adoption of innovative technologies that enable rapid delivery.Generate innovative ideas to deliver business value, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.Ensure best practices are utilized in delivering Reporting/Analytics Solutions.Provide overall technical direction and help ensure quality delivery.Cultivate an open, honest, and transparent environment that encourages collaboration between business and technology teams.Partner with Business, Tech Peers, and Product teams to effectively communicate BI & Analytic vision.REQUIREMENTS:OracleSQLData WarehousingStrong experience in requirements intake, analysis, design, modeling, development, quality assurance, and support.Expert in design techniques and experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs.Multi-skilled with expertise across the software development lifecycle and toolset.Recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworks.Sought out as a coach for at least one technical skill.Strong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, and security.Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or any other related field.Location:
