As a Mobile Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mobile applications that enhance the user experience of our internal applications and those of our clients.What you will be doing:Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for Android platforms, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.Cross-platform Development: Utilize frameworks like Java for Android development to maximize efficiency.Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to implement mobile interfaces and features that align with project requirements.Integration: Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration of mobile applications with server-side components.Optimization: Optimize mobile applications for performance, responsiveness, and usability across different devices and screen sizes.User Feedback Integration: Iterate on user feedback to enhance and improve mobile applications.Testing: Conduct thorough testing of mobile applications to identify and address any bugs or issues.Code Quality Assurance: Adhere to coding standards and best practices to maintain high-quality codebase.Version Control: Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and collaborate with other developers.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mobile development, or a related field.Proven experience as a Mobile Developer or in a similar role.Experience with cross-platform development frameworks (Android SDK).Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles.Familiarity with mobile app testing and debugging tools.Excellent collaboration and communication skills.Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.Preferred Qualifications:Published mobile applications on app stores.Familiarity with mobile security best practices.Experience with mobile app performance optimization.Previous involvement in projects related to health or wellness.This position is initially a contract and can consists of base pay plus equity. Hourly range is from $50 – $60 USD negotiable. Your base hourly pay will be determined based on your location, experience, amount of equity agreed on and the pay of employees in similar positions.
