Senior PowerApps Software Developer
to become part of Peraton’s Department of State (DoS) Diplomatic Security Cyber Mission (DSCM) program providing leading cyber and technology security experience to enable innovative, effective, and secure business processes.Location: Rosslyn, VA; Hybrid roleIn this role, you will need to:Update and enhance existing applications based on user feedback and changing business needs.Design and develop custom Power Apps applications based on business requirements.Thoroughly test and debug developed solution(s) prior to handing over to test team.Understand Microsoft Dataverse, including data modeling, management, and security, with the ability to design and implement effective data structures that support business processes.Migrate solutions between tenants understanding the use of environment variables and cloud flows.Integrate Power Apps with other Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint and other Azure services.Integrate Power Apps with external data sources such as SQL Server, Dataverse, SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and third-party APIs ensuring seamless data flow.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.Translate business needs into technical specifications and application design/wireframes.Debug and troubleshoot issues that arise during formal testing or in production.Develop custom connectors and components when necessary.Document designs, configurations and customizations for reference and maintenance.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver solutions to meet their needs.Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in Power Platform.Qualifications
Required:Bachelor’s degree in computer science with 14 years’ experience, or 12 Years with Masters; 9 Years with PhDPossess one of the following certifications, OR be able to obtain before hire date:
CISSP, Sec+, Net+, A+, MCP, MCSE, CCNA, MCSA
Experience in Power Platform tools to include Canvas, Microsoft 365 services, PowerFX, Power Automate, Dataverse and SharePoint.Ability to develop and configure fields; configure field properties; use calculated fields; use rollup fields; configure global option sets; create alternate keys; configure field-level security.Ability to implement workflows; identify workflow types; implement dialogs and custom actions; identify when to use business process flows, workflow dialogs, and custom action.Experience working with navigation using multiple forms and implementing form customizations.Experience migrating solutions between tenants.Experience in API development including custom connectors in Power Apps, to integrate with external services.Demonstrated ability in planning, execution, and delivery of Power Platform solutions within scope, time, and budget.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working in an Agile development environment.Experience creating technical documents.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with stakeholders across different levels of the organization to gather requirements, provide updates, and drive adoption of developed solutions.Commitment to staying up to date with the latest Power Platform features, industry standards, and best practices in application development and data security.Active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.Desired Certifications:Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or other relevant certifications demonstrating expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft Dataverse.Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
