The Finance Insights & Data Analyst role resides within the US Diagnostics affiliate and plays a key role in support of Commercial activities. In this role, you will participate in various finance activities, including annual business planning, monthly forecasting, financial and headcount reporting, and financial closing. You will be a member of the Portfolio and Enterprise Insights community.The Finance Insights & Data Analyst utilizes, synthesizes, and integrates data to form insights that guide our results and strategies, helping decision-makers understand the landscape we work in and identify additional financial value-adding opportunities. This role provides analytics and insights, resource allocation models, and financial modeling tools.Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that technological advances are integrated into insights generation processesScale expertise for future efforts and constantly streamline and/or upgrade processesEstablish and maintain robust financial reporting systems, processes, and financial controls to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial statements and informationLead the local forecasting and Monthly Outlook activitiesDevelop analysis and insights to enable the US Commercial organization to achieve resultsComplete complex financial modelsPartner with global finance colleagues such as Strategic FinancePartner with senior leaders inside and outside financeProvide finance business partner support to enabling functionsWho You Are
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business-related fieldMaster’s degree, MBA, or CPA preferred4 or more years of progressive accounting and finance experience (6+ years for senior level)Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, such as GAAP and/or IFRSStrong financial acumen, knowledge, and leadershipDemonstrates an ability to lead through excellent stakeholder managementAbility to flex and navigate a complex, broad, and diverse organizationAbility to effectively collaborate with virtual and diverse teamsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities/projectsProven analytical skills and attention to detailThis position is located in Indianapolis, IN.
