Stay Here.Sarasota County Government is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to assist with the Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR), a federally funded program to support the unmet needs of the County following Hurricane Ian. This position is funded by the CDBG-DR grant, or “Resilient SRQ” Program, which is anticipated to last approximately five to six years. This is a unique opportunity for an inquisitive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented individual to make a positive impact on the citizens of Sarasota County.Project Development and Oversite

Oversee Resilient SRQ Infrastructure Program, including overseeing the infrastructure projects for Sarasota County and municipalities awarded CDBG-DR funds, intake and processing of applications from not-for-profit organizations, drafting and monitoring subrecipient agreements, and assisting with grant reporting requirements.With the Resilient SRQ Program Manager, create, implement, and update Infrastructure Program policies and procedures ensuring compliance with CDBG-DR federal guidelines.Assist with hiring of Infrastructure Program staff and administer trainings for incoming staff members, contractors, and subrecipients.Subrecipient Management and Monitoring

Lead meetings, negotiate terms and scopes, and develop subrecipient agreements including compliance metrics and performance data collection activities.Perform monitoring efforts of provider organizations to assess compliance with subrecipient agreements.Receive, review, and process subrecipient progress reports and reimbursement requests.Conduct onsite and desk monitoring efforts of subrecipient’s program progress and fiscal accounting, followed by documented issuance of any notices of findings and necessary corrective actions.Grant Monitoring and Reporting

Monitor fiscal and progress statuses of all grant-funded program activities, identify areas of concern, and communicate these to the Program Manager.Review financial reports and secure required documentation for electronic submission in federal reporting databases.Routinely communicate with stakeholders on reporting progress and expenditure deadlines, analyze data, and compile information according to federal and state reporting parameters.About You

To thrive in this position, you must have:Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, Industrial/Engineering Technology or a related field AND three (3) years of professional job-related experience.Master’s degree preferred and can count for one year of experience.– OR – Seven (7) years of professional job-related experience in management of technical projects/programs and strategic planning may substitute for the required education.About Everything Else
