Cloud EngineerKey Role:

Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional, working, and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. Review or guide the activities of junior employees.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS technologies and best practices

Experience with AWS cloud-native technologies and best practices

Experience with AWS Cloud Shell AWS CLI

Experience with Kubernetes and AWS solutions for containers

Experience with Cloud Development, migration, and implementation

Experience working with the Java programming language, Java Servlets, and Java Server Pages

HS diploma or GED

Secret clearance

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with Atlassian Jira application development

Experience with Atlassian Jira plug-ins

Experience with DevOps methods and practices

Experience with systems administration in Windows and Linux

Experience with DoD Impact Level 5 or Impact Level 6 Cloud environments

Knowledge of DoD STIGs or NISTs

AWS Certificate Path Certification, including Solutions Architect, Cloud Security Engineer, or Network Engineer

DoD 8570 IAT level II Certification, including Security CE+

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
