A large, prominent firm specializing in engineering, consulting, & construction management services is seeking Mid to Director-level Traffic Engineers to join their growing team. They have been recognized for delivering high-impact transportation projects & have been featured in industry publications for groundbreaking work in traffic modeling & analysis, setting new standards in the field.
This firm is growing their Transportation team in New York & is looking for Traffic Engineers with a range of experience levels. You will work on meaningful projects, and depending on your experience level & background, will focus on tasks such as traffic analysis, design, project management & strategic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Mid-Level Traffic Engineer
Design and analyze traffic systems to ensure safety and efficiency.Conduct traffic studies and develop comprehensive reports.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on various projects.Assist in managing project timelines and budgets.Senior-Level Traffic EngineerLead traffic studies and develop innovative design solutions.Mentor and support junior engineers in technical tasks.Manage client relationships and project deliverables.Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.Director-Level Traffic EngineerOversee large-scale projects and guide strategic planning efforts.Drive business development initiatives and client engagement.Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.Represent the firm in industry forums and networking events.
Qualifications:
Mid-Level Traffic Engineer5-10 years of experience in traffic engineering or a related field.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.PE license preferred.Proficiency in traffic analysis software (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM) and relevant design standards.Senior-Level Traffic Engineer10-15 years of experience with a successful project management track record.PE license.Advanced degree & PTOE are a plus.Strong project management skills with a history of successful project execution.Director-Level Traffic Engineer15+ years of experience in traffic engineering with significant leadership and business development experience.Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
