Rite-Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a talented, motivated, and team-oriented Software Developer with seven (7) or more years of experience to support on-site in Fall River, MA. We support numerous programs across various federal/commercial customers. Our team of developers works together to develop, sustain, and maintain code across the full stack. Leveraging state of the art technologies, our team redefines business information and tactical systems of the future.
Duties and Responsibilities:Work in a team environment to understand, create, and modify applications using technologies such as Python, Golang, Java, Kubernetes, Shell Scripting, HTML, C++, Linux, and Jenkins Pipelines.Modernize a legacy system to a containerized DevSecOps architecture with application orchestration compatible with a cloud-based/Kubernetes runtime environment.Design, develop, evaluate, and test system/software integration and enhance the DevSecOps pipeline.Interpret, assess, and support development and maintenance of requirements and software designs.Ability to design and implement within a team environment with minimal direction.Communicate regularly with functional team leads to ensure effective work partnerships.Requirements:At least 7 years of Software Development experience
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology fieldExperience with Python, Golang, Java, Kubernetes, C++, Linux, HTML, CSS, JSON, Jenkins, DevSecOps and Shell Scripting.Solid command of object-oriented software development and automated testingExperience with development under Linux-based systemsFamiliar with common IDEs such as Eclipse and VS Code, and tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and GitlabExperienced with multiple network protocols, data transfer methods, and network debugging techniquesExperienced with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB.
Strong problem solving, automated testing, and debugging capabilitiesEffective written and verbal skillsAble to work and thrive in both individual and team-based development environmentsPosition requires US Citizenship and an active Secret-level security clearance with the US GovernmentAdditional Skills of interest (not required):Experience in developing containerized, microservice architecturesApplication performance optimization across all tiersLinux system administration as part of software developmentFamiliar with agile and/or traditional software development life cycle (SDLC) approaches
