Position Summary:

As a Software Engineer III you will have demonstrated expertise in Swift programming language and apply it to the development, improvement, and release of the Walmart Business iOS App.About Team:

Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.What you'll do:App Development and Enhancement:

Take a lead role in designing, coding, testing, and deploying feature-rich iOS applications, ensuring they meet quality standards, performance benchmarks, and user requirements.Technical Problem Solving:

Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, employing a systematic approach to identify root causes and implement effective solutions that maintain app stability and functionality.Collaborative Development:

Work closely with cross-functional teams including designers and product managers to translate user stories and requirements into functional software, actively participating in design discussions, code reviews, and feature planning.API Integration and Data Handling:

Integrate third-party APIs and web services, while implementing secure and efficient data handling processes, such as caching, local storage, and synchronization, to enhance application functionality and user experience.Code Optimization and Innovation:

Continuously research and implement best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies to enhance app performance, user engagement, and maintainability, contributing to the innovation and evolution of our mobile applications.What you'll bring:Proficient in Swift:

Demonstrated expertise in both Swift programming language, with a solid understanding of their nuances, syntax, and best practices for developing robust and efficient iOS applications.Strong Problem-Solving Skills:

A proven ability to analyze complex technical challenges and develop creative solutions, showcasing a knack for debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing code to ensure smooth app performance.API Integration and Data Handling:

Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL web services, and other data sources into iOS applications, along with a sound understanding of data management, storage, and synchronization techniques.Collaborative Team Player:
