Qualcomm Software Engineers collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams to design system-level software solutions and obtain information on performance requirements and interfaces.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.Job FunctionDevelop and maintain the Qualcomm Wearable platforms, co-work with global teams to provide high-quality software for customers to support the success of Qualcomm chipsets.Your responsibilities will include:Technology research, solution design, and core framework code implementation of App / Framework on Android platform.Requirement and competitive products analysis.Writing documents and supporting relevant teams for technology productization.Provide key support to OEMs for features and issues.Preferred Qualifications5+ years Android Framework developing experiences, have solid Android knowledge, be familiar with the Android system framework and operating principles.Familiar with design pattern principles and application scenarios, and has experience in independently developing system core modules.Excellent Java/C++/C programming skills and coding styles.Excellent problem analysis and solving abilities.Familiar with Git, repo and GNU make, python, Linux shell script.Good at both oral and written English.Education RequirementsBSCS/BSEE with 6+ years experiences or MSCS/MSEE with 4+ years’ experiences.All Qualcomm employees are expected to actively support diversity on their teams, and in the Company.Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer.
