As a Senior Network Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest networking hardware and software from industry leaders like Cisco, f5 Networks, Pure Storage, and Palo Alto Networks.As the backbone of our data center operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless performance and security of our network. Your expertise will be essential in managing and optimizing our complex infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and other mission-critical networking equipment.Salary Range$130,000 - $160,000 based upon experienceWhy Rapid Response?Operate a cutting-edge, highly available data center infrastructureWork with the latest enterprise networking technologiesCollaborate with a passionate, forward-thinking IT teamContribute to the reliability and performance of mission-critical servicesResponsibilitiesOversee the lifecycle of all network hardware and software componentsDiagnose and resolve complex network issues in support of a 99.999% uptime SLAMonitor and analyze network performance metrics to identify and address bottlenecksConfigure, deploy, and maintain network devices and systemsDocument network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting proceduresCollaborate with cross-functional teams on network-related projects and initiativesServe as a key player in incident response and problem resolutionParticipate in on-call rotations and be available for emergency after-hours supportShare knowledge and experience with junior team members through both planned and impromptu trainingQualifications and ExperienceRelevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP, CCIE, or Palo Alto Networks PCNSEBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related fieldMinimum of seven (7) years of experience in network engineering or a similar roleExtensive experience with enterprise networking technologies and protocols (OSPF, BGP, QoS, etc.)In-depth knowledge of network security, virtualization, and storage conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailExcellent communication skills to convey complex technical informationIf you are passionate about leading-edge networking technologies and delivering mission-critical services, we want to hear from you!
