Key Responsibilities:Database Management:Install, configure, and maintain database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).Manage database backup and recovery processes, ensuring the availability and integrity of data.Optimize and fine-tune database performance to ensure minimal downtime and efficient resource use.Monitoring & Troubleshooting:Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks, slow queries, or other issues that may affect the system's efficiency.Troubleshoot and resolve database problems, including performance tuning, data corruption, and hardware issues.Database Security:Implement and enforce security measures to protect databases against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other vulnerabilities.Manage user roles, permissions, and access controls in line with security policies.
