System Administrator
to join our team in
Aurora, CO . The position is part of a team that provides systems engineering, software development, configuration management, and application testing support for a Weapons and Space software development effort.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.Management of IT system infrastructure.Providing day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem solving.Providing problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Configuration and management of UNIX/Linux operating systems and installing/loading operating system software.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree and 15 years of experience or 20 years of total experience.Performing daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.Providing Tier 1 / Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.Optimizing system operations and resource utilization and performing system capacity analysis and planning.Configuring and managing UNIX/Linux operating systems and installing/loading operating system software.Implementing operating systems enhancements improving reliability and performance.Providing detailed analysis and feedback to customers.Preferred Qualifications:NiFi, Docker.Atlassian tool suite (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).Working within a software development environment.Security Clearance Requirements:Must have a current and active TS/SCI with polygraph.The projected compensation range for this position is $143,600-$239,300. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
