As a Deposit Services Specialist at United Bankers’ Bank, you will utilize your problem-solving skills and investigative prowess to identify solutions to customer inquiries. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate record keeping and assist the UBB operations team in providing the high level of customer support and care our customers have come to expect from United Bankers’ Bank.Individual will need to be available to work the following shifts on a rotating basis: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and 10:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Position is on-site at our Bloomington office. Work-from-home opportunities may be available on a rotating basis after an initial training period.Responsibilities
Enters a variety of information to respondent institution accounts in an accurate and timely manner. Performs updates daily to provide accurate account information for the UNET system (UBB’s online banking product).Uploads and verifies file transfers to and from various sources.Investigates any questions regarding account postings, procedures, and bank policies. Reviews and refers new business to appropriate internal departments or external organizations.Assists customers with product utilization, answers incoming calls and/or requests, troubleshoots, solves problems, and provides resolution to supported users or other team members.Balances and reconciles UBB’s inclearings, verifying signatures and authorizations to prevent fraudulent items from clearing customer DDA accounts.Maintains records and deposits daily drafts received from respondent institutions.Handles electronic processing of Canadian checks and processing/collection of foreign checks.Handles foreign currencies with vendors.Enters and edits account analysis reports throughout the month.Completes and sends audit requests to banks and/or auditors, along with accompanying reports from other departments.Processes currency orders to the Fed and investigates any inquiries from customers.Education & Experience
