Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer with a strong focus on security tools to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our security infrastructure. You will work with a diverse range of security technologies and methodologies to ensure our systems are protected, compliant, and efficiently monitored. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a collaborative environment while contributing to critical security initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Implement and manage vulnerability and compliance scanning tools, with a focus on products like Qualys and TenableDevelop and maintain logging methodologies using platforms such as SplunkConfigure and deploy Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)Manage deployment of endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, specifically CrowdstrikeCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices across our infrastructureContinuously assess and improve our security posture through proactive monitoring and analysisAssist in incident response and security investigations as neededStay current with emerging security threats and technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to our security infrastructureParticipate in the automation of security processesRequired Skills:Strong understanding of information security principles and best practicesExperience with vulnerability and compliance scanning tools (e.g., Qualys, Tenable)Proficiency in log management and analysis, particularly with SplunkFamiliarity with IDS/IPS methodologies and implementationExperience with endpoint detection and response solutions, specifically CrowdstrikeSolid understanding of networking protocols and security conceptsPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge of virtual infrastructure and cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, etc)Intermediate Python programming skillsExperience with configuration management solutions (SaltStack preferred, but Ansible or Puppet also valuable)Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GIAC)Growth Opportunities:Work within a diverse team of engineers, offering exposure to a wide range of technologies and methodologiesContinuous learning opportunities in emerging security technologies and practicesMentorship from experienced security professionalsIdeal Candidate:
