International Project Engineer
to work from our Oskaloosa office. This position will focus on providing technical expertise and leadership for international projects. More details about the role are below.What you will do as an International Project Engineer:
Apply Musco product and complete designs for specific lighting projects, including special build designs.Produce project-specific drawings and documents for use by sales, production, customers, and contractors.Plan, schedule, communicate and manage the engineering aspects of lighting projects.Assist with the training of our International team members in sales and engineering.Help define plans and goals within the department and put together teams to execute these plans.Establish standards for new sales markets.Other duties as assigned.What you need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.This is a key position within engineering requiring a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual.Strong written, verbal and graphical communication skills.Basic structural knowledge, including coursework in Statics and Strength of Materials.Basic electrical knowledge through education or experience.Basic manufacturing knowledge.Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.Proficiency with AutoCAD software.Knowledge of lighting technology and calculations.Ability to relate computer-generated lighting models to the actual result.Extensive Musco product knowledge is preferred.Spanish language skills are preferred.Other Special Requirements:
