Field Application Specialist - Bioreactor Technologies - PNW: Vancouver or Seattle - Remote
We seek a Field Application Specialist for our Bioreactor Technologies business, covering Vancouver, Canada, to Seattle, Washington. In this position, you will be responsible for offering Bioreactor Technology expertise, application knowledge, and technical support along each step of the customer's process and bringing the upstream products' technical expertise and market knowledge to the sales team. The main missions are to ensure successful product design, validation, and implementation by supporting sales for product design, product positioning and demonstration, and supporting customers for application development work, initial startups, and training.What you will accomplish together with us:You will support the sales organization on existing bioreactor products through product presentations, demonstrations, application studies, and new products in close collaboration with product management through beta site testing and demonstrations.In this role, you will be responsible for the assigned product line to support sales target achievement in the defined territory.One of your tasks will be to support sales in the customer process and URS analysis and generate application trials to help design optimized products in line with the application requirements.You will proactively provide technical support, answer inquiries, and resolve customer implementation problems in the field.In the event of an issue, you will support the quality department in the quality complaint process by troubleshooting and analyzing customers' processes for better investigation and resolution.As needed, you will collect, compile, verify, and analyze data on the assigned product line performance and customer feedback to identify product features that need to be changed to meet customer needs.One of your duties will be to report on competitors' products and feedback information to the application specialist management and products management.You will provide basic product training to internal sales and dealers and run external customer workshops and seminars.You will conduct trials and demos to achieve the intended results and create trial reports for product management and sales teams.You will collaborate with interfaces to define trial scope and acceptance criteria and build professional trial reports.You have a valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.50% travel in the assigned region (Pacific Northwest USA and Western Canada).What will convince us:You have completed a bachelor's degree in Life Science, Biological Engineering, Biotechnology, or related field.You have at least 2+ years of field experience in a similar technical support role.You possess proven expertise in upstream products and applications.Computer proficient in Windows-based software packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Familiar with Bioreactor Technology products, laboratory processes, and equipment.We value:Familiarity with life science application experiment technology and understanding hot research topics.Ability to effectively interface with product/project/division management.Ability to interact at various levels (sales, technical, users).Excellent communication and presentation skills.Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, Enjoyment.What We Offer:As a growing global life science company, with our stock listed on the German DAX and TecDAX, Sartorius offers a wide range of benefits:Personal and Professional Development:
