Job Summary
Fleck's Furniture & Appliances is looking for a Delivery and Installation Specialist to join us as a key member of our team! You will be responsible for delivering appliances and furniture into our customer's homes, assembling furniture and installing appliances. Duties will also include receiving, storing and moving materials to/from our warehouse or stockroom. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, energetic, and enjoy helping people. Ideally, you are driven to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction and are able to effectively manage a variety of situations on a day-to-day basis.Responsibilities:
Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and different routesFollow route and scheduleCommunicate with customers and office staff regarding delivery statusLoad, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicleFollow DOT regulations and safety standardsMust be able to lift and move a minimum of 50 to 100lbs.Qualifications:
Must have a valid Class D driver’s license and clean driving recordMust have good mechanical aptitudeAbility to drive multiple types of vehicles, i.e., box truck, express van, pickup truckExcellent organizational skillsMust be able to work independentlyMust have excellent time management skillsAbility to communicate effectively and maintain effective relationships with current customers and vendorsBenefits:
