Vehicles that are intuitive, liberating, and designed for the future of mobility.As a Behavior Planning Engineer on our ADAS Autonomous Driving Team, you will be responsible for managing the storage, curation, and transport of data from our fleet and customers for the purpose of automated inference and algorithm development. Additionally, you will conduct data analysis to extract critical scenarios from simulation data and fleet data, contributing to the enhancement of our autonomous driving system's decision-making capabilities.The Role:Develop and maintain robust data plumbing infrastructure to facilitate efficient data collection, storage, and retrieval for various ML and AI applications.Conduct comprehensive data analysis to extract crucial scenarios from simulation data and fleet data, facilitating the identification of key driving patterns and edge cases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions for data curation, storage, and transport, aligning with the requirements of automated inference and algorithm development.Implement data quality control measures and protocols to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the data used for training and testing ML models.Contribute to the documentation of data management processes and best practices to maintain comprehensive records of data-related activities and decisions.Familiarity with data management principles, including storage, curation, and transport, within the context of ML and AI applications.Qualifications:Must haves:Proficiency in Python, with 5+ years of academic/industry experience specifically with relevant libraries used for data analysis and management.Demonstrated expertise in software design principles, with a focus on creating scalable and efficient data management systems.5+ years of academic/industry experience in ML development, with a solid understanding of its applications in large-scale data systems.Experience with porting trained models to embedded platforms and solid fundamentals in C++.Background in perception, environment modeling, prediction, or planning as part of ADAS/AD software stack or equivalent robotic applications.Experience with ML/data workflow tools such as Apache Airflow, KubeFlow, etc.Experience in large scale data processing for perception and planning stack in Autonomous Driving or other robotic applications is a plus.Academic or practical experience in imitation learning, reinforcement learning, simulation, etc.Education:BS or MS/PhD (preferred) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Data Science.Salary Range:
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.Additional Compensation and Benefits:
