We are looking for a Software Engineer with a passion for technology to join our DNS/GLSB SaaS team which is central to F5’s mission to deliver application services on the cloud and edge. Our customers rely on us to direct their traffic at a global scale with high reliability. This is a high impact team and DNS is the first leg of the journey to accessing applications and services on the internet; our customers’ customers depend on us!Primary Responsibilities

Build scalable, robust microservices, preferably you have experience in the cloud.Participate and take ownership for technical delivery of projects.Collaborate with partner teams (QA, UI, SRE, etc...) to ensure the best customer experiences.Implement all phases of the development cycle for a software product from understanding requirements, going through design, development, and deployment phases.Work with a geographically distributed team.Engage with Product Management, architects, and other technical peers to ensure we are delivering the right things.Take ownership and come with a desire to act!Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Experience in designing and implementing solutions for distributed systems using microservices, containers and related technologies.Hands-on professional experience in backend programming languages with a strong preference for Golang.Expertise and experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, Postgres, and related technologies.We have a strong preference for experience related to delivering 24x7 SaaS.Desired experience in DNS or networking technologies.Experience delivering software with agile and lean software development.Qualifications

3-5 years' professional development experience.BS/BA or MS in Computer Science/related field or equivalent work experience.The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
