As a member of the team, you will provide associated technical support to DLA’s Enterprise Workflow Support Capability (EWSC) program consisting of a multi-tenant virtual infrastructure supporting approximately 1,000 end users worldwide and around the clock. The EWSC core architecture is currently built upon the Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) product RSA Archer version 6.4 and leverages Out of the Box (OOB) software configurations (with no customizations) to meet the Government’s needs. This contract covers support including cyber defense, information assurance, network operations and maintenance, lifecycle management, IT planning, system sustainment, system management, system integration, system administration, technical support, technical analysis and guidance, technical troubleshooting, testing and evaluation, software management, software configuration, data support and reporting, software inventory, application enhancement, service desk support, end user support, architectural and infrastructure management, audio visual and video teleconferencing, upgrade or technology change support, documentation support, training support.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Systems Administrator serves as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for comprehensive system administration functions within the EWSC. This role involves coordinating and executing a wide range of system administration tasks, including supporting the Technical Support Services team with deploying systems in accordance with DLA lifecycle management policies as needed. The responsibilities of the Senior Systems Administrator include:Install, configure, and maintain COTS software products.Identify and perform data migration efforts and/or interface requirements.Perform system deployment and adherence to DLA lifecycle management policies and procedures, including (but not limited) support for software / technology refresh activities.Install GFE, apply patches, manage file systems, monitor performance and troubleshoot alerts from monitoring tools as required.Provide support for necessary interfaces to embedded systems such as data extraction and data insertion.Conduct application regulatory change reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory changes.Perform system failure analysis and recovery to ensure the consistency and integrity of file systems.Maintain security postures as designated by the assigned Information System Security Manager (ISSM).Provide, test, implement, and validate system security patching, software updates, service patches, upgrades, and configuration/policy changes while adhering to the DLA Configuration Management (CM) process to ensure full compliance with DoD Information Assurance (IA) Directives, Federal IA policies/regulations, internal DLA IA protocols, and JTF-GNO directives or Tasking’s as well as security implementation/compliance requirements (such as DISA Security Technical Information Guides (STIGs), Gold Disk, vulnerability Scans, etc.).Configure and maintain system backups to conform to IA controls requirements.Maintain the integrity of the system and provide audit trails / transaction logging.Perform system / application diagnostics through the use of GFE to ensure availability and/or provide notification of problems to administrators.
Qualifications:
