This Director of Business Development & Intelligence will support our channel and new strategic revenue strategies for the North America market. You will have a major part in designing, launching, and generating revenue from multiple segments. Driving activities in both the untapped and current revenue streams: Re-Energize, services and expanding install base upselling.

Location- Milpitas, CA (Remote)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and finance, to align sales operations with overall business objectives. Communicate insights, recommendations, and performance metrics to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement. Develop and drive upgrades and replacements of inverters approaching end of warranty. This will include development of an installer network that can serve "orphaned" installations. Collaborate with HQ and drive site ownership transfers for revenue for North America market Develop and drive performance guarantee programs for residential and C&I installations Pipeline Development

Develop and maintain strategic pipelines of potential leads based on client data analysis, market research, and industry trends. Identify high-potential opportunities for revenue growth and prioritize leads according to strategic objectives and sales targets. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to engage potential leads and drive conversion. Market Expansion and Partnerships Lead efforts to expand the company's footprint in existing markets and penetrate new geographic regions. Cultivate strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including solar developers, utilities, government agencies, and industry associations. Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, joint ventures, and strategic alliances to drive growth and market differentiation. Data Utilization and Opportunity Identification

Lead efforts to consolidate and centralize all client data, including customer profiles, purchase history, and interactions. Use market data and sales data from the existing install base to deliver insights and generate matrices to measure sales Leverage data to monetize the existing install base by offering and upselling new solutions such as electric charging, battery storage, and IoT communication Analyze client data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and new business development. Sales Enablement and Training

Provide guidance and support to sales teams on lead generation strategies, pipeline management techniques, and effective client engagement tactics. Develop training materials, resources, and tools to empower sales representatives to effectively leverage client data and drive revenue growth. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to sales teams to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and KPIs. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred) Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing sales with success growing YoY revenue. Proven track record of success in sales roles within the renewable energy or energy storage Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Candidates should have a verifiable record of successfully growing market share with a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close Strong selling aptitude with the ability to understand the technical workings of the SolarEdge product line and convey the advanced technical product benefits to potential customers in easy-to-grasp business terms. Proven track record of identifying, negotiating/converting and closing large dollar deals Ability to Travel up to 25% Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships Exceptional leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker who can drive results in a dynamic and rapidly evolving market.

FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE

At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be approximately $150K-$200k. Base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.

Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
