In addition, the Electrical Engineer is responsible for reducing electrical costs and improving equipment reliability.The Electrical Engineer role is based in Fleetwood, PA and reports directly to the Electrical Maintenance Manager.What youll get to doGuide electricians and trades helpers in the repair, maintenance, and installation of electrical and control systemsEnsure the operational viability of the plant by evaluating and maintaining the proper functioning of all electrical and control systemsWith the Maintenance Planner, design and coordinate corrective maintenance projectsDesign and implement electrical engineering projectsCoordinate and supervise contractors for electrical projectsSupport and consult plant management in the field of electrical engineering for the optimization of plant operationMaintain records and update technical documentation and drawingsProvide ongoing maintenance support to the plant for all shifts by participating in the plants on-call program which involves evaluating and determining the course of action for maintenance incidents after hours and on weekends, at times requiring on-site supervision of the resolutionEssential Experience and SkillsBachelors degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 3 years of electrical engineering experience preferredAt least 2 years of experience in heavy manufacturing preferredStrong project management skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficeFluent with NEC, NFPA, and ISACAD softwareFamiliar with PLC/DCS and HMI architectureGood familiarity with the operation and maintenance of common electrical equipment such as power distribution systems, breakers, high voltage systems, air condition and pressurization systems, variable speed medium voltage drives/motors, transformers, switchgear, MCC equipment, and power monitoring and communication systemsThorough understanding of system analytical studies including short circuit, coordination, load flow, motor starting, and arc flashPreferred Experience and SkillsCement manufacturing experienceCemat S7SAPWork EnvironmentRole operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.What we have to offerCompetitive base salary and participation in our annual incentive planHighly competitive benefits programs401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions employerExternal candidates must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.Employer Statement:
