Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer in Norfolk, Virginia.
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a 525-bed tertiary care facility, is home to the area's only Level I Trauma Center and serves as the flagship hospital of Sentara Healthcare's 12 hospitals. Home to Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance and several dedicated facilities and specialized services. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital also serves as the primary teaching institution for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS).
The Chief Financial Officer will provide leadership through financial analysis, management and decision support to assigned areas. As an essential member of the Division's Executive Team, provides management input to improve/maintain performance of Sentara within the hospital and assigned additional financial responsibilities to include system wide Pharmacy and Laboratory. Collaborates with Corporate VPs on strategic and operational planning, revenue and cost optimization, as well as other corporate driven initiatives.
10 years of progressively more responsible positions in the field of finance and accounting. Eight or more years of healthcare experience as well as five years of supervisory experience. Master's degree required; CPA preferred. MBA/MHA may be considered in lieu of CPA. #LI-AR1

As an essential member of Division's Senior Leadership Team, provides management input to improve/maintain performance of Sentara within the hospital and assigned system areas.
Qualifications:
MLD - Master's Level Degree (Required)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Certification - Other/National
