Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC handles end-to-end warehousing and distribution logistics needs utilizing our strategic network of storage facilities. Our facilities are capable of receiving, storing, processing and dispatching cargo, so we can build flexibility and resilience into the supply chain process. Summary : Manages multiple large-scale operations and all activities related to operations and development of company products by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of drayage representatives to achieve individual and team goals.Manage day-to-day operations of drayage, including with carriers, dispatching, and tracking shipments.Support strategic initiatives and projects related to drayage operations as needed.Conduct regular performance evaluations, set clear expectations, and identify opportunities for development.Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable capacity and exceptional service levels.Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement.Manage and monitor freight movements to ensure on-time delivery and compliance with customer requirements.Collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and enhance operational efficiency.Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operations and drive continuous improvement.Analyze KPIs to assess performance gaps and drive results.Implement SOPs as needed for efficiency and optimization of time.Spearhead continuous company growth initiatives.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Experience:
5+ years of Drayage and Port Operations experience.Must have knowledge of federal and state regulations related to operations.Ability to work with others in a collaborative team environment.Previous management experience is preferred.Displays emotional intelligence when coaching and leading others.Self-motivated and ability to think strategically.Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions related to operations.Expresses intelligence of market trends, industry news, and impacts on business.Excellent Excel Skills / Data ManagementCompany Benefits:

Pay Range:
$100,000.00k annually - $110,000.00k annually
*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
