Assists in preparation of miscellaneous business plans relating to assigned facility operations.
Participates in strategic long-range and tactical planning. Performs economic evaluation of new programs and equipment. Completes trend analyses and volume projections. Develops strategic pricing and sensitivity analyses. Initiates appropriate controls to ensure compliance with operating and capital budgets. Works with other departments, staff, and external entities to undertake the budget preparation process effectively. Monitors and summarizes the status of all financial targets. Trains, mentors, and supervises department staff to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. Ensures internal control oversight and compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding of assets, compliance with University policies and procedures, reliability of internal and external reporting, and efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Creates an effective control environment, conducts risk assessment, implements and monitors controls.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
Certification and Licensing:
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
+ Knowledge of business and management principles.
+ Ability to direct, manage, implement, and evaluate department operations.
+ Ability to establish department goals, and objectives that support the strategic plan.
+ Ability to effectively plan, delegate and/or supervise the work of others.
+ Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others.
