The Warehouse Supervisor will supervise all warehouse processes by assigning work orders, monitoring product inventory levels, supervising the preparation of product loads for route deliveries, and supervising the performance of each warehouse team member to enhance key business metrics and production. The position will report directly to the Director of Airport Operations or the Operations Manager.

Essential Functions:

• Directs In-bound and out-bound inventories of food/beverage product and equipment and supplies to ensure efficient storage and utilization.• Assign incoming requisitions to warehouse/pickers to pull food and equipment. • Check all outgoing requisitions to ensure that they are accurate and complete.• Assign staff to deliver the product to and/or within the airport. • Communicates with airport restaurant general managers and front-line personnel regarding any delays or product changes that may affect requisition delivery.• Communicates with vendors as needed to ensure timely delivery of ordered product and equipment. • Works under pressure while exercising good judgment and handles conflict and resolves uncomfortable situations with clients, customers, vendors, peers and direct reports.• Supervise warehouse workforce that receives, stocks, rotates and pulls product and ensures that work is completed using safe practices. • Recruits, trains, develops, and communicates with all warehouse staff as well as assesses performance on a regular basis, including annual performance reviews• Manages all office tasks, shipping/receiving, inventory, purchasing team member scheduling (bid schedule creation, where applicable), and accurate punch monitoring for payroll. • Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as state health/sanitation standards and OSHA requirements.• Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education/Experience & Skills

• Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Administration and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. • 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution center experience in a management/supervisory capacity. • Food, beverage, or restaurant industry experience desirable.• Verbal and written communication is essential. Able to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with employees, vendors, customers and other entities.• Experience in dealing with problems involving customer service.• Food handlers permit as required by law.
