Full-time physician needed to help us build the Family Practice with OB/GYN at our North Health Plaza clinic in Clinton, IA.

Candidates must be Board Eligible (with plans to become BC within 1 year of employment) or Board Certified in Family Medicine AND OB Fellowship-trained (fellowship must be completed prior to start).Must be able to perform C-sectionsExcellent work life balance supporting quality family time.Call Schedule: 1:4 - predictable and non-burdensome call schedule.Offering supporting medical staff representing urology, podiatry, surgery, cardiology, radiation oncology and hospitalists. All services located in the hospital for convenient access and coordinated care.3 clinic rooms and a procedure roomState-of-the-art ultrasound equipment on siteStaff includes 1-2 clinical staff members and a receptionist1 Board Certified Gynecologist on staff in the building, 2 OB nurse practitioners, and 1 FP/OB Physician also on site.12 Family Practice providers on siteHow Many APPs Provide Coverage: 2Total Number of Beds: 7 LDRPAverage Number of Scheduled Patients Per Day: varies with providerWhat Percentage of Practice is Low Risk Pregnancy: 50-60%What Percentage of Practice is High Risk Pregnancy: 30-40%What Percentage of Patients are C-Section: 5-10%Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day: 1-2Nursery Level (I, II, III): 1What Percentage of Practice is GYN: lowAverage Number of GYN Surgeries Per Day (If Applicable): N/ADocumentation System/EMR: Cerner in hospital, eclinical works in clinicEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 daysAccepting recent/upcoming OB Fellowship graduates who are BE (must have plans to be BC within 1 year of employment) or BC in Family MedicineNot accepting Locums candidatesNot accepting visa candidatesCannot accept providers who have any malpractice cases that are in Probate or that require supervision.
