The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services-from primary and preventive care to specialty services for children and adults-all designed to keep our community healthy and accommodates more than 250,000 outpatient visits, more than 89,000 emergency room visits, and with 371 beds, more than 15,000 inpatient admissions annually. PAGNY

is recruiting for a Part time Rheumatologist at H+H/South Brooklyn HealthProvide care for patients with rheumatology related medical conditions directly via outpatient clinicsProvide rheumatology consults for the inpatient serviceManage administrative duties, including EMR documentation, timely billing for reimbursement, analysis of quality data and reports, attending meetings and serving on various committees as neededTeach and mentor medicine residents, fellows, and junior members of the medical teamQualifications

Graduate of an accredited Medical School or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from an accredited universityBoard-certified in Rheumatology and Internal MedicineActive or NYS Medical LicenseActive, unrestricted DEA licenseCultural sensitivity to a diverse patient population requiredPrevious experience working with an under-served patient population preferredWages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $105,600* based on 16-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $171,680** , which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
