The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati ("JFC"), the backbone Jewish organization, is seeking an Engagement Manager. The JFC connects our community, solves big problems, and stewards community resources. POSITION SUMMARY:

The Engagement Manager reports to the Director of Community Engagement and Leadership within the Community Planning and Engagement Department. This department is guided by the community vision (Cincinnati 2030) which is rooted in four key priorities:

- Nourish deep and authentic partnerships that support thriving organizations in our community.This position will be responsible for providing entry points and serve as a connector to adults with a desire for more engagement in Jewish life, thereby aiding in the identification of future community leaders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

Run monthly convenings of young adult engagers at partner agencies to facilitate cross collaboration, identify gaps in programming, and strategize for the community.Organize and manage annual leadership 8-month development program, LEAD which empower and develop current and future volunteer leaders.Run young adult missions to Israel, which may include Birthright, Honeymoon Israel, and others.Act as "concierge/connector"; meet one-on-one with Jewish adults new to Cincinnati, recent college graduates, and unaffiliated community members.Support the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) on projects as needed.Serve as a liaison of the Jewish community between agencies and organizations.Support young adult programming at partner agencies through attending and recruitment.Create educational opportunities to connect Jewish young adults to Israeli culture through educational, cultural, and philanthropic programs.Partner with leading local, national and global organizations in the young adult space to develop and foster mutually beneficial partnerships aimed at creating a more robust Jewish community for young adults in Cincinnati.Serve in a leadership staff role on cross-department initiatives as required and perform other duties as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably with experience in engagement or fundraising, and/or significant involvement in the Jewish community or specialized experience, degree or certification in Jewish communal leadershipExcellent interpersonal, communications and networking skills, with proficiency in the English languageTeam-building skills for fostering internal and external collaboration is a necessityMeticulous attention to detail and follow-upDemonstrated ability to set goals, tasks, timetables and manage workflowMust be organized, detailed and have ability to multi-task on several ongoing projects or programsKnowledge of the Cincinnati Jewish community with strong ties to young adultsMust be committed to the mission of The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and have a knowledge of Jewish customs and practicesProficiency in implementing strategic initiatives, manage/coordinate presentations, budgets, projects, events, volunteer engagementsExceptional organization and communication skillsAbility to work productively on multiple projects with volunteer committees and staff.Flexibility for taking part in early-morning meetings, evening and weekend meetings and events is required$54,000- $58,000 based on experience
