The West Side YMCA is seeking a Building Coordinator to provide assistance in the leadership of the management and maintenance of the West Side YMCA’s buildings and property department. Qualifications
High School Diploma.Three (3) - five (5) years of supervision of staff and overseeing maintenance, cleaning, tracking/ordering supplies, entering payroll, and purchase orders.Fire Protection, Systems (NYC Codes), Building Construction and Management, Energy Conservation, Pool Operator, Certificate of Fitness T89, S12, S13, C91 Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems.Essential Functions
Assist the Senior Property Manager in the administration of the operation and the development and monitoring of the operation plan.Supervise and assist as needed in all cleaning, maintenance staff.Maintain time keeping for the department and approve payroll.Create all department purchase requisitions and receipts for PO’s.Coordinate with the business office all invoices on hold.Take all daily receipts to the bank.Track and order all supplies as needed.Maintain records and reports on staff, supply consumption, inventory of cleaning supplies.Assist in Supervising, train and motivate maintenance staff on an ongoing basis.Required to implement rules and regulations to ensure the safety of members and staff according to risk management guidelines.Designating staff and schedule to meet operational needs of the branch in addition to set-up/take-down table and chairs for events.Assist the Senior Property Manager in providing staff leadership to raise and sustain annual support campaign, capital and special events.Respond to emergency situations at branch as needed.Directly responsible for payroll, invoices, PO’s, Ordering/Tracking all maintenance supplies, Scheduling and covering all staff shifts.
