Job Description

BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Clinical Supervisor will provide support/Supervision to the Family Intervention Specialist.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Enroll in Wheels of Change at time of hire, completing within six months of hire and complete all requirements to be certified in the FCT supervisor model within 365 days of start date.

Ensure fidelity of Family Centered Treatment model and work closely with FCT Consultant.

Provide individual supervision to Family Intervention Specialist to problem solve barriers and plan for professional development on a weekly basis.

Provide team supervision to Family Intervention Specialist to review cases and provide feedback on intervention and case conceptualization on a weekly basis.

Can provide consultation, with the Licensed Clinical Consultant on evidence based practices, including but not limited to, Trauma Focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Assist staff in the field as needed to enhance their skills, including portions of FCT fidelity model that require 2 staff to be present

Monitor timely completion of documentation by staff including FCT fidelity documents required for FACT report and discharge tracker.

Ensures FIS are working through their Wheels of Change certification process and that it is completed within one year of start date.

Provides direct services to FIS’s caseload when the FIS is on sick leave or on vacation.

Conducts annual performance evaluations of staff.

Assess and ensures staff meet competencies.

Focuses on Clients/Customers and ensures quality of services delivered to client/customer.

Acts as a change agent and pursues continuous process improvement.

Provides coverage when employees are unavailable.

Maintain referral log as well as the reason for any refused referrals.

Work with others to assign referrals.

Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms. Ensures clients’ rights are protected.

Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels.

Requirements

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or related field with a minimum of one-year experience delivering an evidence-based practice, children and families(preferred) or

Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field with a minimum of one-year relevant experience delivering an evidence-based practice.

Minimum of one-year related experience.

Must be 21 years of age.

Must pass a drug screen and TB Skin Test.

FBI Fingerprint Check.

Submit to a Criminal History and DFPS History Check.

Pass a Centralized Background Check through the Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary.

Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Lifting requirements of 50 lbs.

Receives training in trauma informed practice and incorporates knowledge in day-to-day practice.

Understanding of child and adolescent development and family systems
