Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced
Lead Unified Communications Engineer
with a background in Cisco Unified Communications for a great, long-term engagement with US Federal Agency based in the Washington, DC area.
Key Responsibilities:
Serves as Lead Engineer focused on Cisco Voice technologies. Lead small team of UC Engineers related to Cisco CUCM, SME and Unity dminister UC infrastructure and making sure all devices interface properly with the network Qualifications:
10 years' experience, with 3 years as a Lead, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field OR 15+ years of experience with 3 years as a Lead Extensive experience in Cisco Unified Communications Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. bility to work in a fast-paced, and dynamic environment. The following certifications are required (and must be active with certification documentation provided): CCNP Voice Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP, spanning tree, subnetting, routing, access control lists, wireless, VPN, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, and firewall operations. Experience in a multi-vendor environment, with the ability to transfer network/voice/video configurations and concepts from one vendor to another. Windows / Linux VMWare Cisco Technologies Strong technical project management, communication, and engineering skills VOIP Video LYNC/WEBEX pplication changes and upgrades Upgrading Operating Systems Using Standard PC Software - Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook FISMA-Must be versed in FISMA Requirements ensuring full compliance and participate during all audits Familiarity with network infrastructure, converged technologies and various network monitoring and management tools This position requires US Citizenship and the ability to successfully obtain a US Federal Government clearance.
