Engagement Manager- Gaming
This is a staff position with Aquent Studios and will oversee our studio and support our large gaming client.
Candidates mush be in the Puget Sound area. This is a hybrid role and will be on-site 1-2 days a week.
Understanding of the gaming pipeline from ideation to release and beyond is required.

The Engagement Manager will lead our Aquent Studios embedded agency solution to support alarge gaming industry client. The EM is the key client relationship manager interfacing daily withclient managers, our team, and stakeholders to ensure that our agency delivers high qualitywork and customer satisfaction.
The EM will oversee and be accountable for a dedicated team(s) of producers, designers,engineers, operations staff, copywriters, content producers, and other roles as needed to createthe various and evolving deliverables. This person will meet with clients regularly to assess theworkstreams and upcoming projects to ensure the right team members are assigned anddeadlines are met. Applicants must be able to commute daily to the client site located in thePuget Sound region.
The EM owns accurate financial management of the engagement, performance management ofthe team, including resolving HR-related issues, and the continuous improvement of processesand efficiencies. The EM will also be the lead in transitioning, hiring, and on-boarding newmembers to the team. The EM works with executive leadership to develop, maintain, reviewand/or disseminate all engagement documentation including business reviews, invoices, andcontract change orders.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required for success in this role:
Program Management:• Successful track record in client services: understanding the client's business withexceptional customer focus, including internal customers.• Advanced understanding of program management methodology including the ability toidentify and resolve issues, manage risk, develop detailed work plans and specifications,perform resource allocations and run team meetings.• Understanding of the gaming pipeline from ideation to release and beyond.• Experience in marketing consulting, agency, or client-side consumer marketingenvironment.• Navigating the client's internal structure, which will include identifying and partneringwith key stakeholders on any given project and facilitating broad communication toeliminate obstacles.• Ensure systems and processes are defined, reviewed, improved, and maintainedefficiently and effectively.
Project Management:Ensure systems and processes are defined, reviewed, improved and maintained efficiently and effectivelyCreate and maintain all tasks and projects within project management softwareDevelop reporting specific to the engagement in the project management softwareUse data in project management software to evaluate productivity and efficiency
Team Management and Leadership:• Possesses Minimum 5+ years account, team, and delivery management experience witha strong understanding of the talents and experience that make up a high-functioningcreative team, and how to allocate those resources to drive success on everyproject/engagement.• Leadership of teams, including providing guidance, coaching, mentoring, and subjectmatter expertise.• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with distributed teamsin a virtual environment and mentor all levels of team members.• Exemplifies grace under pressure, is a natural team leader, and comfortable workingdirectly with clients.Financial Management:• Significant responsibility over team/dept financials and ensuring profitability.• Experience with negotiating project scope and associated pricing so work deliversoptimal/targets for both our clients and our company.• Fast, accurate, and authoritative analysis, forecasting, and decision-making.
