As a
Compliance Manager
at Via, you will assist in implementing and supporting Via's Regulatory Compliance team, including its: risk framework and methodology; insurance portfolio management; corporate governance and standards; third party risk management; and operational risk analysis. You will be responsible for partnering with impacted business units to ensure that our product and services meet regulatory compliance standards. The Regulatory Compliance team identifies, measures, monitors and reports risks and exposures connected to Via's consumer, Software as a Service ("SaaS") and Transportation as a Service ("TaaS") services.
What You'll Do:
Identify and prioritize risks facing a complex tech-enabled global transit businessDevelop and operationalize risk mitigation policies and proceduresConduct regulatory compliance research and drafting risk assessmentsEstablish consistency and standards across the organization with regulatory compliance documentation and reportingTrain employees on regulatory requirements and best practicesPrepare and submit responses to regulatory audits and inquiriesWho You Are:
Bachelor's degree required, J.D. or M.B.A. optionalMinimum of four years of compliance experienceStrong analytical / research skills coupled with ability to effectively summarize findings in a succinct and organized mannerAbility to grasp complex processes quickly, be able to identify risks and compensating controls and make appropriate recommendationsExcellent oral, written, critical thinking, problem solving and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated knowledge of the transportation industry preferredSound understanding of compliance and operational risks and internal control frameworkExcellent organization skills and attention to detailCompensation and Benefits:
Final salary will be determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, and skills.
