Overview
Role and Responsibilities
As a Cabinet Designer at Arizona Appliance and Home, you will be responsible for working closely with clients to design custom cabinetry solutions for their kitchens, bathrooms, and other living spaces. You will use your creativity, technical skills, and industry knowledge to craft innovative and functional cabinet designs that meet the unique needs and preferences of our clients.

Meet with Sales to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget for cabinetry projects.Design Development:
Create detailed cabinet designs, layouts, and 3D renderings using specialized design software, taking into consideration space constraints, aesthetics, and functionality.Product Selection:
Assist clients (when necessary) in selecting cabinet styles, materials, hardware, and finishes that align with their needs.Estimations:
Provide accurate project cost estimates and quotations for custom cabinetry based on design specifications.Collaboration:
Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless project coordination and client satisfaction.Technical Expertise:
Stay updated on industry trends, cabinet construction methods, and building codes to provide expert guidance to clients.Customer Support:
Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests with professionalism and a commitment to exceeding expectations.Project Documentation:
Maintain organized records of client interactions, project details, and design plans.Quality Assurance:
Ensure that cabinet designs adhere to quality standards, durability, and safety requirements.Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field is preferred.Proven experience in cabinet design, kitchen and bath design, or a similar role.Proficiency in cabinet design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2020 Design, SketchUp) and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong creative and spatial design skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.Knowledge of cabinet materials, construction methods, and industry trends.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Willingness to continually update skills and knowledge in the field.

This position is office based, typically sitting at a desk -requiring dexterity to be able to utilize phone and computer.
