Summary:The client is looking for several dynamic Program Managers as part of the PMO to lead and manage a portfolio of work comprised of cross functional projects in a hybrid project environment (Waterfall/Agile methodologies).
The individual must have at least 8-10+ years' experience in project management with experience leading teams and ability to drive cross-functional projects from cradle to deployment. They must be a self-starter and a problem solver with a high aptitude for critical thinking. Must be comfortable moving forward even in uncertain situations and shouldn't be afraid to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. Ability to navigate and manage complex organizational ecosystem with ease
Responsibilities:
Act as a catalyst for PM Maturity Transformation in the organizationReduce the gap between strategy and execution and help drive projects successfully to realize the vision for project management maturityDrive engagement with stakeholders to create visibility and transparency with respect to progress updates and remove blockers for all stakeholdersAct as a "Trusted Advisor" to all cross-functional groups on process, standards and industry best-practices on project managementShowcase the value of process and project management maturity through resultsPromote cross-project communications and sharing of informationProvide the necessary Coaching and Training on Project Management Best PracticesManage and lead multiple projects. Ensuring project management processes and project controls are being followed, including but not limited to, coordinating meetings, distributing meeting minutes, driving next steps, and tracking follow ups.Help teams to save time with process efficiencies, continuously look for opportunities to Innovate and AutomateEstablish and maintain effective working relationships by collaborating cross functionally among multiple business and technology partners, as well as external 3rd Party vendorsProactively communicate and manage risks / issuesApply clear thinking, excellent communication, and strong analytic skills to help solve problems, manage stakeholders, scope business and technical requirements, and prioritize project workCreate project estimates, project plans w/ detailed work breakdown structures, workflows, RACIs, governance and engagement models as needed.Identify gaps in ways of working or opportunities for optimization / change management needs within policies, process, or procedures.Effectively work with Project Sponsors and Project teams to ensure on-time project implementation and realize identified project objectives and benefits.Manage the progress and documentation in Trello and Confluence
