Job DescriptionEducation Required:• Bachelor's in Public Health or Public Administration• Master's in Public Health or Public Administration (Preferred)
Experience Required:• Public health: 3 years• Epidemiology: 3 years
Skills Required:• A thorough knowledge of biostatistical and epidemiological methods and their applications to public health planning activity• A thorough knowledge of the techniques necessary for preparing and publishing statistical data; a working knowledge of electronic data processing (R or STATA)• The ability to analyze health related data and evaluate the effectiveness of existing or proposed health programs• Experience in producing effective reports for public health audiences, policy-makers and the public• The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with various agencies engaged in biostatistical activities and research
Job Description:• Seeking a program evaluator who will be responsible for the ongoing evaluation of mental health programs.• This position will be responsible for evaluating the Healthy Transitions 2 grant, the Early Diversion Grant, and the Public Attitudes Survey.• This position will provide strategic and technical support to meet the goals and objectives of specific public health programs, in alignment with the departments' mission and leading priorities.• The position will plan, create, and manage evaluation data analysis, interpretation of analysis, and preparation of reports for both internal and external use.• This position will evaluate and translate complex analyses into findings or conclusions and, if appropriate, recommendations that are concise and audience-specific through presentations, reports, and publications.
