General Summary of PositionConducts analysis to support strategic planning and activation functions such as service line strategic growth planning, ambulatory network development and acute care facility planning.\r
\rPrimary Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision, performs analyses, synthesizes data and develops summaries of information findings in support of strategic planning and strategy activation processes and projects, as well as executive decision-making.Efficiently and accurately leverages departmental data platforms (Sg2, Buxton, state data) for data analysis.Collects and incorporates qualitative and quantitative information in support of ongoing reports including market share and market scans.Builds and applies working knowledge of healthcare market trends and planning methodologies.Participates in the development of competitor intelligence (both traditional and non-).Assists in maintaining planning databases and systems including quarterly/annual updates and verification of data integrity.Supports deliverable development in graphic (PPT) and written (Excel, Word) communications format.Participates in team meetings and on departmental committees as requested.Contributes to the achievement of established department goals and objectives and adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.

\rMinimum QualificationsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Business/Finance or Science-related field (Biology, Engineering, etc) required andMaster's degree in Health Administration or Business preferred
\rExperience
1-2 years of quantitative analytic experience and working knowledge of health care required andHealthcare strategic planning, operations or finance experience preferred
\rLicenses and Certifications
No special certification, registration or licensure required
\rKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required (e.g., Pivot Tables,\rMacros, V-LookUp, etc.).Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Demonstrated experience with data analysis and interpretation is required.Experience using SQL, Tableau, mapping, and business intelligence tools preferred.Highly motivated, self-starter with a natural sense of curiosity and attention to detail.Exercises initiative and seeks guidance as appropriate.Collaborates with team members on priority projects and development of key deliverables.
