Overview

The Human Resource (HR) Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, andstatistics, and apply this data to assist HR leadership in developing strategic solutions and data driven decisions. Applies best practice data analytic skills to guide decision-making, process improvement and a desire to bring analytical solutions to organization's HR strategies. Supports the organization's overall ability to use Human Resource data in decision making to drive improved outcomes by supporting key initiatives with data analysis and insight generation.

Responsibilities

Provides data driven insights and analysis for all stages of the human capital lifecycle thatis used for key decisions throughout the organization.Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including HRsystems, employee surveys, exit interviews, government labor statistics, and othersourcesAnalyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiringpractices, employee engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws andregulations.Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership.Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, andbenchmarks for key performance metricsIdentifies patterns and insights from people data to help optimize decisionmaking. Analyzes large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets that will aid decisionmaking. Prepares reports and presentations for various audiences.Provides ad-hoc data analysis to support workforce related requests. Createsspecifications for analysis, reports, visualizations and analysis that facilitate evidencebased business decisions.Performs complex data research and analysis to support business operations includingcreating statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in largedata sets. Develops and executes insights that inform decision making around our people,culture, and leadership.Creates and implements practices to measure and quantify effectiveness of HR programsand overall organizational health.Gathers, analyzes, summarizes and presents workforce/people data that informs andprovides meaningful, actionable insightsLeverages and analyzes both quantitative and qualitative data across the employeelifecycle - onboarding, recruiting, development, engagement, total rewards, and retentionto make better, data-backed decisions around workforce needs.Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

Leads, assigns, and participates in special projects as needed.Assists in planning and coordinating employee events and activities as needed.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, orrelated field preferred. At least five years of experience in related areassuch as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection,training, employee benefits, and/or equal opportunity compliancepreferred.

Special Skills, Licenses and

Certifications

HR Certification, such as SHRM-CP or PHR, preferred. Understandingof local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HRpolicies. ADP Workforce Now experience preferred. Knowledge of theemployee life cycle as it pertains to key HR analytics (e.g.turnover/retention, labor costs, engagement, benefits, compensation).Knowledge and experience in HRIS applications and leveraging HRISdata. Knowledge and experience managing databases and utilizing datavisualization tools

Performance Based Competencies

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintainingcourtesy and composure to remain calm, open-minded and objective.Ability to function effectively with frequent interruptions. Excellentverbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical skills withexperience in modeling and reporting (advanced Excel skill), withproven ability to both design and audit data models and reportsindependently. Ability to tell stories with data, both quantitative andqualitative. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.Ability to apply judgment and make sound decisions. Ability to fostereffective working relationships and build consensus. Ability to plan,organize, prioritize, work independently and meet deadlines. Proficientwith or the ability to quickly learn systems and software.

Work Environment And Physical Demands

Ability to work at a computer terminal for 8+ hours/day. Includesfrequent, repetitive motion including computer typing, sitting/standingfor most of the day. Ability to lift, carry, or move objects of varyingsize, weighing up to 25 lbs.

HIRING RANGE:

$103,059.95 - $133,977.94
