Data Engineering and Science Lead

The Data Engineering & Science Lead with a focus on data engineering and data science to optimize our property management and decision-making systems. This role will lead ETL processes, data pipeline development, and advanced analytics efforts, with a strong emphasis on integrating property management systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) and working with large datasets. You will drive business insights, enable advanced analytics, and develop sustainable solutions that support the company's strategic goals.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain efficient and scalable ETL pipelines to integrate data from various property management systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage).Leverage expertise in data engineering to transform, store, and visualize large datasets for actionable insights.Develop and deploy predictive models, perform advanced analytics, and generate reports to drive strategic decisions.Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather requirements and translate business objectives into technical solutions.Lead initiatives to improve data quality, performance, and infrastructure, ensuring accurate and timely data delivery.Support API integrations with external systems and provide leadership on data automation efforts.Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on data engineering best practices.Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or related fields.Strong expertise in ETL processes, SQL, Python, and cloud-based data solutions.Experience with property management systems (Yardi, Entrata, RealPage) is highly preferred.Proficiency in data warehousing solutions, including Azure, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar.Solid understanding of API development and integration.Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.Experience with advanced machine learning models and deployment strategies.Familiarity with Domo, Tableau, or other BI tools for dashboarding and visualization.Experience in property management or real estate industries.
