Job Summary
The Attendance Liaison, under the supervision and administrative direction of the designated District Supervisor of Attendance and School Principal(s), will serve as a critical link between the school, families, and the community; support student attendance and engagement by identifying barriers, facilitating connections to resources; and ensure students and their families are supported in overcoming challenges that affect school attendance.
Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION: In addition to a high school diploma or GED, must have:- Completed two years of college; or- Earned an associate degree; or- Demonstrate knowledge and basic understanding of a second language; or- Experience working in social services, education, or community outreach.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of training and experience which would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:- Two years of previous experience in a related field.- Bilingual skills (preferred but not required).
REQUIRED TESTING:Must pass an appropriate skills test for this position with a grade of 80 percent or better.(Those selected to interview will be contacted to take the test. Applicants who have previously passed this test are not required to take it again.)
