Regenerons Sample Management Group is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Sample Management Specialist to support biobanking operations and sample data processes. This role will be located out of our R&D facility in Tarrytown, NY.
A typical day in this role looks like:
Responsible for the interpretation of clinical/non-clinical study protocols and associated study documentation as it pertains to biospecimen management. Independently executes study reference file creation by interpreting protocols and other applicable data inputs. Manages biosample operations for assigned clinical/non-clinical studies to ensure company deliverables are met and objectives are achieved under limited guidance. Performs the accessioning and receipt of non-clinical/clinical samples by assessing and verifying data, both manually and with automated platforms such as Microsoft VBA and Streamlit. Completing necessary operations in applicable software systems (e.g., LIMS, ELN, etc.) to perform specimen and data management. Operating automated sample storage systems. May assist in troubleshooting automated equipment. Fulfilling clinical/non-clinical sample requests to support bioanalysis deliverables as well as company-wide research initiatives. Performs the reconciliation and data cleaning of biospecimens. Collaborates and maintains effective verbal and written communication with internal and/or external collaborators to facilitate data discrepancy resolution. Communicates with CROs and third-party vendors to support biospecimen operations. Handles high priority tasks within the appropriate timeframe while maintaining accuracy. Adapts to changing priorities. Is capable of multi-tasking across assignments. Ensures compliance and accurate documentation with adherence to SOPs, and applicable regulations.

In order to be considered qualified for this role,
you must have earned a bachelor's or master's degree with 6+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
