POSITION SUMMARY

Partner with assigned business areas to oversee daily operation and successful execution of Talent & Culture practices and policies. Including but not limited to, staffing, onboarding, employee development, employee engagement, employee relations, retention, culture, security, and benefits coordination. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with applicable federal / state / local laws and regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Establish collaborative relationship and effective partnership with assigned business areas to manage talent and culture within the organizationInvestigate, document, and resolve employment-related issues; offer alternative and objective solutions and ensure solutions which adhere to federal / state regulatory guidelines and Company practices, policies & procedures; ensure fair and equitable administration of corporate policies and procedures; complete reports, analyze trends and recommend resolutions to stakeholdersEnsure recruitment and selection of employees in adherence to federal / state / local regulatory guidelines; ensure background checks and drug tests are completed for new hires; gather and analyze metrics from the business to ensure recruitment levels meet the business needsAdminister employee engagement and onboarding process including but not limited to, employee orientation and training on HR policies and company expectations; conduct stay interviews and exit interviews; gather and analyze data and trends, compile reports, and make recommendations to training or policies and procedures based on analysisImplement and support effective organizational structures including the review of new positions within the organization, completion of job description questionnaire, and job changes in partnership with leaders and cross-functional HC teamsFacilitate employee and management training programs, including but not limited to, DISC, Change Management, Skill Path, and Alchemy in collaboration with Talent ManagementComplete regulatory reporting, including but not limited to OSHA 300/301 forms, I-9 and E-Verify processesEnsure administrative processes including but not limited to, leave of absence tracking, SAP data entry, and employee file maintenance are completed timely and accuratelyComplete investigation of and responses to workers' compensation and unemployment matters in collaboration with Risk Management and 3rd party vendor; attend unemployment hearingsPromote and educate staff on corporate Human Resources initiatives, employee engagement programs and company planned activitiesManage and supervise Talent & Culture Administrative Staff and/or Security Staff; establish objectives, providing feedback on hiring, disciplinary actions, and training personnel.Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field or equivalent experienceFive (5) years' progressive Human Resources experienceTwo (2) years in a leadership role influencing human resource-related change within an organizationBilingual fluency in English and SpanishPreferred Qualifications

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) / Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) CertificationSAP HR systems experienceFood production or manufacturing environment experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA's)

Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations including EEO, OSHA, and OFCCP requirementsIntermediate skills with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointAbility to identify problems, review information to develop and evaluate options then implement solutionsAbility to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, present complex ideas concisely and clearly articulate ideas verbally and in writingAbility to build professional relationships with Talent & Culture and cross functional teams while facilitating a collaborative environment.The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independentlyCustomer service skills including the ability to manage and respond to different customer situations while maintaining a positive and friendly attitude while maintaining confidentialityEnvironmental/Working Conditions

Depending on assigned area: Ability to work in an office and plant environment with exposure to noise, equipment and machineryDepending on assigned area: Able to travel up to 20% of timePhysical Requirements

Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud.
